Description
The Aalborg Hotel is situated near the former Danish Consulate in Amsterdam and beside to one of the nicest parks "Sarphati Park". The Hotel is a a typical family owned business with only 36 rooms situated near the center of Amsterdam and the RAI Congress Center (both 7 minutes by tram).

The Hotel was founded in 1952 and is completely renovated in 2001. The breakfast is served from 8.00 a.m. untill 10.00 a.m.(no buffet) and includes several sorts of bread, croissants, jam, cheese, differents types of meat, eggs, orange juice, coffee, tea, milk and chocolate.

The reception is open 24 hours. Coffee, tea, beer, softdrinks, snacks, postcards, stamps and cigarettes can be bought 24 hours for consumption in the lobby (with tv) or in the rooms. The Hotel has 36 rooms: 7 single rooms, 15 double rooms with one bed, 14 twin, triple and quadruple rooms with 3 beds or 2 beds and a sofa bed. All rooms have TV (25 programs), radio, direct dial phone with data port, wake up service, desk, bath, shower and toilet.

The main museums are a walking distance or are reachable by tram (there is a tram station approximately 50 meters from the Hotel) in around 4 minutes.

All kind of restaurants are around the Hotel.

The famous Albert Cuyp market is at 2 minutes by foot from the Hotel.

The Heineken Experience is approximately 5 minutes by foot from the hotel, the same distance for the canal boats.

The city center ("Dam Square") and the Rai Congress building are approximately 8 minutes by tram from the hotel.

The most expensive shopping street of Amsterdam is approximately 4 minutes by tram, the same for the Concert Hall.



Directions
From direction Amersfoort follow ring Zuid, exit S110 and from direction Utrecht (A2) follow route S110: on the bridge over the river Amstel take the right lane and direct after this bridge turn right (President Kennedylaan), continue this road straight along the river Amstel on your right hand side, at the 3rd traffic lights turn left (Ceintuurbaan – further on called Sarphatipark).

You will find the Hotel after 800 meters on the left side. From de direction Schiphol Airport/Den Haag/Rotterdam: follow ring Zuid, take exit S109, at the end of this exit turn right, at the roundabout turn right (President Kennedylaan), this road straight on, continue along the river Amstel on your right hand side, at the 6th traffic lights turn left (Ceintuurbaan – further on called Sarphatipark), You will find the Hotel after 800 meters on the left side.
